Privacy Policy
This policy covers the apps published by turrall & co. (“we”, “us”) on the Apple App Store. It explains how our apps handle your information. The general principles below apply to every app we publish, and the section for each app describes exactly what that app does.
Our approach
We are avid believers in privacy and self-sovereignty and build apps that work without collecting your personal data. Unless an app’s own section below says otherwise:
- We do not collect, store or sell personal data.
- Our apps have no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking.
- Our apps contain no third-party software development kits that collect data.
- Anything you create or share in our apps stays on your device.
If a future app ever needs to collect any data, its section will say what is collected, why and how it is handled before that version is released.
Information collected by Apple
When you download or buy one of our apps, Apple processes your purchase under its own privacy policy. We receive only the aggregated sales and usage reports Apple provides to all developers, which do not identify you. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may also send us anonymous crash reports. We use these only to fix bugs.
If you contact us
If you email us for support, we use your email address and anything you include in your message only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list, and we delete support emails once they are no longer needed to help you.
Children
Our apps do not collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we don’t collect or hold personal data through our apps, there is usually no personal data for us to access, correct, export or delete. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, or you have any question about your rights under privacy laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, please contact us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. When a new app is released, its section is added below.
App-specific details
noSwipe
noSwipe shows a single photo that you share to it from the Photos app, and displays a warning screen if someone swipes to look for other photos.
- noSwipe collects no data and makes no network connections.
- noSwipe does not request access to your photo library and cannot see your photos. It only receives a photo when you choose one in the Photos app and share it to noSwipe.
- When you share a photo, noSwipe’s share extension saves a temporary copy in a storage area on your device that only noSwipe can access, then opens the app. The app loads the photo for viewing and deletes the temporary copy straight away, so the photo is then held only in memory while you’re viewing it. If the app doesn’t open for any reason, the temporary copy stays on your device until the next photo you share replaces it, and is deleted when that photo is opened.
- Your photos never leave your device and are never sent to us.
